Rex Kane-Hart is an award winning filmmaker who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television from The Victorian College of the Arts. Over the years Rex has developed a multidisciplinary style, combining his love of visual art, music, animation and theatre in his work.
His intrinsic style is both visually and emotionally perplexing, focusing on creating bazar and unique worlds.

In 2013 Rex was chosen to perform in the VCE ‘Top Class’ drama showcase, at the Melbourne Recital Centre. He was also chosen for the VCE ‘Top Arts’ exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria for his animated short ‘L’attente’.
In 2016 Rex’s VCA Graduating short film ‘Nest’ Won ‘Best Cinematography’, ‘Best Production BFA Film and Television’ and ‘Overall Best production VCA’
